Night as a Habitat
His journey from Tripura to West Bengal and Baroda has immersed him in diverse landscapes, each leaving an indelible mark on his art. The free night life of Baroda inspires him to do this series initially. Rather than focusing on specific locations, he draws inspiration from fragments of various environments, weaving them into his paintings. This process fuels his longing for a space that embodies his desires, driving his creative pursuit.
He often creates solitary visuals with minimal imagery, inspired by his immediate surroundings. While narrative isn’t a primary concern, a poetic essence emerges from life’s various aspects. Each piece connects to observations of the society around him, reflecting his fascination with vast, empty landscapes that spark contemplation and playfulness. This sense of freedom often finds expression in lines of unknown poems, which sometimes become paintings or titles. Through his art, he explores the interplay between observation, emotion, and creativity, capturing the essence of his experiences and surroundings.

These works chronicles my journey, capturing the evolution of my art and the insights I gained during one year scholarship period. The Lalit Kala Akademi scholarship was a turning point, reigniting my passion and confidence in my art. It taught me to believe in myself without bias and to practice freedom in every aspect of my creative journey.
